A collaborative DENIM project based around ZERO WASTE, inspired by the designer VETEMENTS. We decided on ANARCHY as a group concept, then split on to individual pathways, within which I went on to look at WORKWEAR, grown from the idea of working women in the war. I focused heavily on PRACTICAL elements, along with lots of hardware and stitching. To comply with the zero waste brief I pattern cut the trouser section without any waste, along with the top half being made from RECYCLED garments, though the method of PATCHWORK. We all used a medium weight black denim, along with the bright colours of green and orange in the form of paint splashes and additional components.
